We are delighted to announce that HydroSafeGuard S.A. has been nominated for the Polish Smart Growth Award 2021 in the category 'Innovative technologies and future research'. The Polish Smart Growth Award is granted by the Centre for Smart Growth, a Silesian company dedicated to the promotion of Polish science.
The statuettes are awarded to organisations and individuals who set trends for intelligent and sustainable development, initiating market changes. The awarded projects have the potential to revolutionise the economy.
The research and development project POIR.01.01.01-00-0395/18 entitled. ”Carrying out R&D projects to implement the innovative product HydroSafeGuard & CleanAir”, for the implementation of which HydroSafeGuard received a nomination for this prestigious award, concerns the conduct of advanced R&D projects involving the development of products with air-purifying effects and protection against the harmful effects of water and other external factors. The project will develop 4 types of products, dedicated to 4 different surfaces:
- building materials
- wood
- glass
- metal.
The products will have a common feature, namely the ability to filter the air, thereby removing harmful organic formaldehyde for the user and the environment. The filters will also have protective properties.
The winners will be presented with their awards at the 6th Smart Growth Forum, scheduled for 26-29 September 2021 in Toruń.
The project is financed by the European Regional Development Fund under Priority Axis I, which supports R&D work by enterprises. This is Measure 1.1, specifically Sub-measure 1.1.1, which covers industrial research and development work performed by enterprises. This is part of the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020.
